The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions. In a recent statement, the Ministry disclosed that, of the 563,339 student results received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates qualified for placement. Among these, 447,698 candidates, representing 80.93%, were automatically matched with one of their chosen schools.
However, 104,918 qualified students were unable to secure a match to any of their selected schools and are advised to use the Self-Placement platform to choose an available school. To access their placements, qualified students are instructed to visit the official CSSPS website at www.cssps.gov.gh or www.cssps.org. They should enter their ten-digit index number followed by the year of completion in the format (e.g., 123456789024 for the 2024 batch), click “Submit,” and wait for the placement details to appear.
For further assistance, the Ministry has established the National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, along with Regional Solution Centres across all 16 regions. The helpline 0308258001 is also available to answer public inquiries and provide support regarding the placement process.
