Brynx Haven Guest House Wins Prestigious National Tourism Award
The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has honored Brynx Haven Guest House in Cape Coast with the prestigious title of Guest House of the Year 2024 during a vibrant awards ceremony at the Castle Gardens, Osu, on Friday, October 25, 2024. This recognition comes only a month after Brynx Haven was awarded Guest House of the Year for the Central Region by the GTA at a ceremony in Cape Coast.
In its citation, the GTA praised Brynx Haven for delivering “exceptional service, hospitality, and a commitment to providing travelers with clean and well-appointed rooms at affordable rates,” describing it as “a unique blend of comfort, culture, and value.” The authority commended Brynx Haven for creating an unforgettable guest experience and for maintaining high standards in quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
The citation further highlighted the guest house’s inviting atmosphere, noting its “real home atmosphere away from home” with a beautifully maintained environment, fully furnished rooms, and top-tier service by professional staff. The guest house has grown to be a preferred choice for both local and international travelers seeking quality lodging in Cape Coast.
Receiving the award, Mr. Isaac Hayford, Chief Executive of Brynx Haven, dedicated the accolade to his staff, recognizing their hard work and commitment to delivering quality and satisfaction. Hayford expressed gratitude to his clientele, promising even better service to enhance their experience at Brynx Haven.
An architect and contractor with a passion for quality design, Hayford has recently expanded Brynx Haven’s Cape Coast facility to accommodate more guests and established a second branch in Ashieyie near Adenta in 2023, offering boutique attractions.
The awards ceremony also recognized 36 other notable personalities and institutions within the tourism industry. Dignitaries present included the Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Andrew Egyapa Mercer; Deputy Minister Mark Okraku Mantey; GTA’s CEO Mr. Akwasi Agyeman and his deputies; as well as members of the diplomatic community. The event was chaired by former Minister of Information, Madam Oboshie Sai Coffie.
