No Further Action to Be Taken Following Sammy Gyamfi’s Apology – Presidential Spokesperson Confirms

Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu has confirmed that no additional disciplinary measures will be taken against the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, following his recent public apology.
Speaking at a press briefing held at the Jubilee House in Accra on May 14, Mr. Ofosu stated that Sammy Gyamfi has been officially cautioned and advised to conduct himself appropriately going forward.
“In the last few days, there have been discussions surrounding a video involving Mr. Sammy Gyamfi and Agradaa,” Mr. Ofosu noted. “In response to public concerns, Mr. Gyamfi promptly issued an apology and acknowledged the seriousness of the matter.”
He added, “The Ag CEO of Goldbod has been cautioned, with no further action expected to be meted out to him.”
The matter is now considered closed by the government following the apology and caution.
